Keptt ("we", "us") is an event photo-sharing app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you have over it.

What we collect

• Account details — your email address and chosen username, used to create and secure your account. Signing in with Apple or Google shares the email (and, for Apple, optionally your name) those providers give us.
• Content you share — photos and videos you add to events, event details you create (names, descriptions, dates, locations), messages you send, and reactions (hearts).
• Location — only when you use a location feature: pinning an event on the map, viewing events near you, or uploading to an event that requires you to be on site. Your location is checked on your device and is not stored or tracked; only the event's pinned location is saved.
• Push token — a device identifier used solely to deliver notifications (new messages, invites, photo approvals). Stored with your profile; removed when you delete your account.

What we don't do

• No advertising, no selling of data, no tracking across other apps or websites.
• No background location tracking — location is read only at the moment you use a location feature.
• No analytics profiles beyond the operational data above.

Where your data lives

Data is stored with Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore and Cloud Storage), acting as our processor. Content you share into an event is visible to that event's members under the event's settings; public events are discoverable by other signed-in users.

Your controls

• Delete your account any time in Profile → Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your profile, your photos and videos, events you host, memberships, friendships and push token.
• Delete individual photos you've shared at any time; event hosts and admins can also remove content from their events.
• Report and block — you can report any photo and block any member in-app; blocked members' content is hidden from you everywhere.
• Permissions — camera, photos, notifications and location are all optional and controlled in iOS Settings; the app works with any of them declined.

Age

Keptt is for people aged 13 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13; if you believe a child is using Keptt, contact us and we will remove the account.
